The issues I describe below seem to have started this morning when I turned off all my favorites lists, except for two digital trunked systems (one of which I reprogrammed last night). 1- ISP Dist 5 and Dist 2. 2- Will County Police/Fire/EMS specifically shorewood, plainfield, channahon, minooka (Joliet is encrypted) 3- IDOT (Illinois plows) 4- Troy Township plows. I am completely ignorant to the proper use of quick keys and the best strategy for using favorites lists to my advantage. Solder the red wires together and to pin 5, Black wires together and to pin 1, Green wires together and to pin 2. Just received by SDS-100 was not receiving anything and was returned to Uniden. Received the unit back today and still no radio traffic. Repair that was performed was cold solder joint. The receive quality doesnt even compare to any of the HTs I have. Walking down the street, sitting inside or even both hooked up to similar outdoor antennas, and before anyone asks yes ive tried swapping the antennas (outdoor) on the SDS and HT. Ive got the remtronix and still sucks..
